Our Kentucky ASDAchapter strives to act as a resource for members to continue learning, building relationships, and honing leadership skills in collaborate ways outside of the classroom. We can act as an encompassing resource for students to stay up to date on the legislature that impacts dentists and/or dental students, gain exposure to companies and businesses through our lunch and learns, and discover the benefits of an ASDA membership and the benefits of continued membership in organized dentistry (i.e., American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, etc.). Some of the popular events that we traditionally host every year:

• Mr. Molar: A pageant/talent show for the guys in our classes to show us what they got while raising money for a local dental clinic.

• Saturday Morning Clinic: A free dental clinic for pediatric patients hosted one Saturday every month.

• ASDA Day: A jam-packed day with a keynote speaker, awards, new officer announcements, lunch, and a vendor fair – all at no cost to the students!

Our chapter is always looking for ways to bring students from all classes together through our socials, philanthropy initiatives, and offering events that reflect ASDA’s five dimensions of wellness. Go cats!
