District 7 advocacy co-chairs are dedicated to keeping our chapters up to date with the continuously changing legislation. Unfortunately due to the ongoing pandemic and lasting uncertainty, we are currently unable to set or confirm any dates for District 7 Advocacy events at this time. Our advocacy team is in full swing working to plan events for our district: a collaboration with our District 7 pre-dental team aiming to inform undergraduate students about organized dentistry and how the current legislation will affect their dental school application. Another goal is to increase the awareness and participation for the Advocacy Certificate Program within our district To keep the chapters of our district informed, the advocacy team will continue to send out regular briefings to chapter’s president and legislative liaisons, along with a monthly calendar posted here on our website with important chapter, district, and national legislative events.
